Avolites Media was launched in 2011 and follows thirty-five years of Avolites success as a formidable force in lighting control development and manufacture.

Soon after Avolites Media announced a strategic alliance with Immersive Ltd, resulting in Avolites Media becoming the owner and sole manufacturer of an exciting suite of products under the brand name ‘Ai’. First product off the production line was the groundbreaking Ai Media Server, launched at PLASA 2011 and created to seamlessly integrate lighting and video into one smooth programming operation.Since it’s launch it has been used on a variety of high profile projects including Pendulum World Tour and Chase and Status live video recording at O2 Brixton Academy.

“One of the biggest ongoing challenges to this industry is the invisible integration of video control with lighting,” states Avolites’ Sales Director Steve Warren. “Avolites is renowned for listening to and responding rapidly to market change. In fact, the foundations of Avolites’ success are built around its ability to design products that reflect the needs and demands of our forward-thinking customers. This is no different.”

Significant video production companies, including XL Video and Ten Feet, Holland, are recognising the leap forward Avolites Media is making and have enthusiastically come on board. “All the more flattering when you think these companies already own most of the media server brands on the market,” says Warren. “I feel strongly that Avolites should offer a control surface that allows designers to gain creative access to all the visual elements in a show.”

Avolites’ keen assessment of the market is built on its three-decade, empathetic business relationship with its brand-faithful customers. Allied to this is its enthusiasm to expand into new markets and territories. “Ultimately, we make something that’s magic,” agree Warren and Avolites’ Managing Director Ric Salzedo.
